Personalising your HulerHub tiles makes finding your links quick and easy. What’s more, it’s a great way of expressing yourself within your digital workplace.
To begin creating your tile, hit the ‘+’ button on the bottom of your Hub and enter your desired URL.
Editing the details
To edit the title, description and URL of the tile, click details.
Adding an image
To add an image to your tile, click the ‘Image’ option on the Create Tile menu.
HulerHub offers multiple options to help you choose the perfect image for your tile:
Suggested: Scrapes available images from your chosen URL
Image Bank: A gallery of pre-designed images
Upload: Select images from your own files, including .gifs
Colour Picker: Use the colour picker or input a hex number to create a block colour tile
Editing the text
To change the way this text looks on the front end, click the ‘text’ button. This will give you several different options of how to change the appearance of your tile text, explained below.
Dark Mode: Changes your text and the controls of your tile from black to white - this is a great option if your chosen image is darker
Hide Text: Hides the title all together (although it will still be searchable) - this is great if your chosen image is self-explanatory (i.e. a logo)
Add Shadow: Adds a shadow to the bottom of the tile to make your title more visible
Editing your tile
The customisations don’t end there either. You can also edit your tile further by cropping it and adding filters.
The Crop function offers the following:
Rotate 90 degrees
Flip vertical
Flip horizontal
Square
Zoom in
Filters help you create a consistent theme across your HulerHub tiles. To add a filter, click the Filters button and choose from the range of preset filters on offer.
If you change your mind and would like to remove a filter, simply click ‘None’ to revert the tile back to its original format.
And there you have it, that’s all there is to creating aesthetically pleasing tiles for your HulerHub platform.
Don’t forget to click ‘Create’ to save your tile and complete the process. Your new tile will then be added to the top of your MyTiles dashboard or Collection.
